Fiftyone Gallery is pleased to present Transited
Roads, the premier exhibition in Miami of Dusseldorf and Buenos Aires based
artists, Martín Mele and Celina Jure.
"Transited
roads", raises shared paths, of painting and object, color and
form, of history and of the abstract. It raises each artist’s
individual point of views, and also theirs similar paths. Transited
shared roads in life and in art. Celina Jure evokes "time"
in a direct gesture without corrections, using color as
spiritual vessel, evocative of musical rhythms. Summary of
personal feelings, and at the same time, it strips color to nudity as
color is seen. Martin Mele relates found objects with the sculptural
potential that belongs to them. These objects become part of
Mele’s life and recount his walk through the world and
his history.
