Bio

Cynthia Cohen's artistic production is deeply rooted in Pop Art, a movement that inspires her to explore and reinterpret contemporary culture through a universally accessible visual language. While all her work is created in Argentina, specifically from her studio in the San Cristóbal neighborhood of Buenos Aires, her artistic language transcends borders, aiming to resonate with a diverse audience. Her paintings, primarily executed in oil, play with scale modifications and occasionally incorporate different materials. This approach enriches her expression, creating a visual dialogue that challenges conventional expectations. Additionally, her career includes conceptual actions that introduce new perspectives, inviting audience participation and fostering a more interactive engagement with the artwork.

This versatility in her practice grants her the autonomy and freedom necessary to experiment and take creative risks—elements she considers essential to her artistic process
