Gustavo Blanco Uribe studied in Altos de Chavón School of Design and at Parsons School of Design in New York.   An impulse to record the world is thus only part of what fuels his art activity. Gustavo Blanco Uribe´s work is a window through which a private world enveloped in equilibrium and harmony is exposed. The detailing is crucial to a discerning sartorial scrutiny. Abstraction, structure, lines and superimposing are essential characteristics of his work. All these factors together with his photography are dominant elements to create a good marriage to build an original formal dialogue.

Gustavo Blanco Uribe (b. 1972, Venezuela) currently lives in Madrid, where he opened a studio exclusively devoted to visual arts.
